I'd love to see it, but I'm not sure. 2 and a half years ago (pre Surbiton) I'd have said very likely, but probably leaning the other way now unfortunately.
Her 3 set record this year really is alarming, she's played 12 deciders and has lost 11 of them (crazy), a lot of them from good positions as well, as seagull mentioned, and it doesn't take much for a match to slip away from her. Her overall record this year is 20-19 and that's not really good enough either when 11 of her 19 events were at W25 level. I was looking at the pre match odds, and had the favourite won each match, her record would have been 26-13 (2 were ca. 1.90 vs 1.90, so included one each way), and so many defeats when the opponent has been at least 2/1 - Markova, Hietaranta, Shapatava, Akita, Jani.
There's clearly a big game in there, and when she is on she can beat decent players emphatically, as we have seen over the years, and she is still reasonably young, but at the same time, it is quite hard to see her stringing enough good events together to significantly move up the rankings, plus I guess there will still be questions over her ankles, and it'll probably be another one who reaches 24/25 year old, ranked 140-180, and a lot of 'feels like a huge year for xxx' posts.
I do hope so though because she is in my top 2 or 3 favourite GB players.

I'm going to go for 'yes' (partly because I still have my 500:200:100 bet on from when she was 17).
I do think there could well be a 'eureka' moment when it all comes together (rather like JoKo).
Rather like Katie B, though, I query her braveness to change coaches, training base, and really push things out there. I get the feeling she really enjoys tennis, but in a rather 'safe' way, with friends, a familiar set-up, etc. I'm not sure that'll be enough....
I first saw Jodie in 2014 when she won the Liverpool event and looked very promising. She beat Tara Moore in the final in the year when Tara played Fed Cup singles. However later on she had her ankle injuries. Laterly she seems to be in winning positions and then berate herself for losing a point and then the match goes west. We can also hope for a JoKo Eureka moment. Perhaps the success of Emma will provide inspiration.
Yes I've been watching Jodie and also saw her win Liverpool juniors.
At juniors, she was big serve, big forehand and hitting people off the court.
She now has a much more rounded game and when she is on it, she can destroy most. However, she still needs to get more consistent and control the demons in her head. The ability is there.
Yeah, I tried to find it as well yesterday, but couldn't. I assume it was probably in a print version.
It would be interesting to know the context, as while both would be a good achievement, it would be interesting to know if she was meaning a solid top 100 player, someone who will remain arpund 70-100 for 4 or 5 years competing in all the grand slams and regularly playing WTA events like say a Pera or Kovinic, or more just crack the top 100 at some point, stay a few months, but then sift back down within a year like a Jakupovic, Fett, Cepede Royg etc. although I imagine it would probably have just be one line or something.
The context is who could follow in Emma's footsteps, naming Hannah Klugman who she thinks is probably the best in the world for her age, Ranah Stoiber, who she says is one of our best juniors and an incredible athlete, and from the BJK Cup team, Fran Jones and Jodie who she says both stand out as potential top 100 players, if not better.

You would think that someone at the LTA would have picked up on these issues and spoken to her. The amount of times she can win the first set against higher ranked players only for it to fall apart in the next 2 is alarming. It can also happen against lower ones as well. With the game she has though if she could control this part she could move up the ranking fairly quickly and would be my choice out of all the British women to make a significant move this year
Jodie finished 2021 at GB#6. Here's how she put that together.
So Jodie was another of the player's who seemingly has zero appetite for clay tournaments. With 86% of her points coming from hard court tournaments, this represents this most heavily skewed in favour of 1 surface amongst the Top10. All her counting points from non-ITF events were accrued in 2021. She has two titles contributing to her total. The 2nd of those from Dubai (Apr 2021) is one of the reasons for Asian tournaments contributing 35% of her total points, the most amongst the group.
