Boys & Girls: Malahide ITF U18, Ireland - carpet - Grade 5 (Week 29)

As this clashes with the G4 in Bournemouth, there's less Brits than there might be otherwise.

But still a reasonably big contingent.

(Because they live over there? Because it's easier and cheaper to get to Dublin than Bournemouth for a lot of people in the north of the country? Because it's carpet not clay? Because it's a G5 not a G4? Because tactically it's good to play non-Brits when you can rather than same old, same old?)

In the qualis, there were 10 British boys entered and 3 girls.

Only Josh Curwen, Rhodri Atkinson and Steph Reynolds have made the FQR.

Gianluca Quinzi. I feel like I am stuck in a time warp it's 2013 again! the second coming.

It will be interesting to see whether he is as prolific as a junior as his brother Gianluigi. Wimbledon junior semi finalist at 16 and winner at 17. Junior Davis cup winner and JCH 1 and now at the age of 21 ranked at about 250.

Obviously not Gianluca's day yesterday!
