Naomi on LS after a couple of games and a longish rain delay, won 1st set on a convincing tiebreak7-1, and 2-0 up in 2nd set.

Naomi would have to reach the final to get back in the top 100 - currently held on 614 points. Naomi has points to drop (see the magic spreadsheet), so needs the 90 from reaching the final.

Losing to an unranked local when you are a seed, results on tour don't come any worse than that. She needs to take a different step to address her dire form than simply turning up at more tournaments to lose in R1. A break looks like it is callled for. Traning block. Mental recharge. All that stuff.

As per earlier an unranked local who has a senior CH 334 and JCH 3 , both from age 17 in 2013. But yes, no ITF activity for a little over two years.
