great win for Sam been treated like dirt by the LTA since she came back from injury this is perhaps her best result

Yay, great to see Sam finish it off  biggrin

After her earlier in the week thumping WR 515 0 & 2 to now beat the top seeded WR 233 suggests that she really could have found much more of the old Sam.

Stay injury free and I reckon at least top 300 again in time, but let's not get too far ahead for now ...

And Sam finishes the day with a cherry atop her delicious cake of a day, as with Ms. Swan, they romp past the #2 seeds and into the SF of the doubles, 6-3 6-4
