What is happening with Tara. Seems only yesterday she was in the top 150 and just a few steps from the top 100. But how quickly you can fall if your form goes. Hope she can get back on track preety soon as she is a better player than this. Wish her well and chin up.
Wonder what's up with Tara - that's her 8th loss in a row (starting with that loss to Conny in Rabat) and the last time she beat a player in the top 500 was her win against Amanda in Altenkirchen back in mid-February.

I don't mean to be disrespectful to Tara but it never has quite happened for her has it? She has never seemed to build on strong weeks and right now seems to be stagnating. Not being given a WC for Wimbledon was very telling to me. You can never say never and I hope she can start to put things right but I wouldn't be surprised if she was to call it a day in the next year or so.
She has teased with glimpses of play that have got onlookers excited about what might be if it all comes together, but it never has. I wouldn't say she should be giving up though, greater consistency may well come with maturity. She has never sounded like she was in love with the sport of tennis, always one of the first and loudest of British players to be talking publicly about how hard tour life is. Along with expressing disenchatment with the LTA. We dont' know why her form has dropped off completely but just like with Hev, at some point it will come back.
Tara has worked her way up to a CH of 145 without the LTA - unless she has a big win she will probably slide to 275-300. Outside the top 4 she is the only Brit capable of getting below 150 - Goog luck to her
