I've been surprised that none of the commentators/experts have been playing up Ostapenko's chances; her clay-grass transition has been exceptional, and her belief and determination reminds me of a Sharapova or Azarenka. It's pretty cold and windy in London today which means quite a big difference in conditions with the roof open and roof closed. I expect Jo will be quite happy to play Halep with the roof closed.
Jo seemed a bit laboured at the start of the match. She stepped the power up but then started to miss the lines. Now she seems to have the power under control and is hitting winners.
