Fascinating to see how the ladies pans out, I would say15 out of the last 16 could win, Martic being the only one not to have a realistic chance. I fancy Konjuh to take out Venus for my upset tomorrow. Coco if she can play lights out to win the whole thing.
Andy & Jo trying to make it the first time GB has had representatives in both the men's and women's QFs at Wimbledon in the same year since 1973, the year of the boycott, when both 6th seed Virginia Wade and 3rd seed Roger Taylor made it through.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I've zero idea and, as my famous 10p Bet365 account isn't allowed in France, I haven't even given it any thought. But it's fun to take part so:
Today:
Konjuh will beat Venus Jo to beat Caro G Muguruza to beat Angie Halep to beat Vika Kuznetsova to beat Aggie Coco to beat Caro Woz Svitolina to beat Ostapenko Ryb to beat Martic
I should then go for Angie or Venus or whoever to win the whole thing - as some sort of hedge.
But, if that's not in the spirit, then Svitolina or Garbine to win....
(And obviously the whole point of not putting Jo is that the humongous joy of Jo winning would be enough in its own right - so go Jo!)

A friend of mine with a lot more disposable income than me who values my knowledge of tennis (which is a lot greater than Mark who abused me on that Doubles thread), asked me for an outside tip for the Mens and women's this year. I gave him Dimitrov and Garcia. He has backed both at £25each way. 125/1 for Garcia he got and 66/1 for Dimitrov apparently. So I'm split loyalties for today's Konta match as you can imagine.
I'd agree with all of Indianas assessments.
He didn't ask me for any tip for the Doubles though. (I would have recommended a Lucky Dip for that).
P.S I won't be posting in those doubles threads, I have genuinely entered due to thinking to be singles ones (hence my seperate topic thread suggestion, which I thought was a great idea btw) and apologies for those sensitive enough that took offence. Points all noted, anyone that knows me knows I'm certainly not a troll, my sense of humour is perhaps slightly too dry for this demographic.
Just looking at Rybarikova's recent record. Her UK grass court record is pretty well known and that's now 17-1 ( with just Jo beating her in Nottingham though Gabi took a set off her in Birmingham ).
But also prior to the French Open ( reached R2 ) she won back to back Japanese 60K and 80K titles on officially hard and carpet, but who knows exactly what.
Not counting one walkover in the Japan 60K her overall last 29 matches at various levels are now: Won 27, Lost 2.
The number 1 topic is actually in Jo's favour, because assuming she plays Halep gives Simona extra pressure knowing that winning that quarter will make her number 1.
