1-2 on serve (Klein/Salisbury to serve). But that's after a game in which Neal Skupski must have landed under 20% of his first serves.

So dispiriting to see many empty seats. As others have mentioned, we don't do a great job of supporting our own.

Kind of fearing there will be no British representation after R2 here, those are some horror R2 draws.

I'm with you, Wolf. You couldn't get much worse draws across the board if you tried. Would expect at most one, not be shocked with none, and be thrilled with any more than one. But you never know.

Some super play from Neal in particular sees them take the first set TB 8-6.

I guess when you get into a Slam by means of a WC and then make the 2nd round, there is no such thing as an easy draw. That's what Slams are for.

Having said that, Ken/Neal have just taken the 1st set in a TB against the 8th seeds, Bopanna and ERV

Of course nothing would be easy, but could certainly be easier. And Jamie & Bruno having to play Groth & Lindstedt is very nasty.

Darn it. Ken/Neal just served for the match at *5-4 in the 3rd but were broken. Still a chance to close it out in this set though. I fear that if Bopanna/ERV win this set and get some momentum, things could be very different.

Bopanna/ERV take a 3rd set TB 7-5. Hang in there Skuppers. This match is still for the taking. You are still 2 sets to 1 up.

Despite having said I wouldn't watch tennis today, I did some dipping in and out of this match. In the first two sets (I stopped after that - too tense!) the Skupskis' level was just outstanding - Neal, as noted, in particular. Beautiful angles and reactions. Can't recall ever having seen them play so well.
