What an unbelievable result for the pair of them! When the match points came and went in the 4th I thought their chance had gone, delighted to be proved wrong! Well done to both of them, they played fantastically well.
Absolutely. I thought, after the fourth set chances, that it was all over...... oh, ye of little faith.
Brilliant for them, and the spectators, and media headliners ..... and everyone, really, apart from the French duo !
This must have been a good result as the BBC actually showed the last three games on the main channel, albeit after the match had finished. I really hope they show a bit more in their highlights programme.

The last few games were actually shown live on the red button...

Not that Red Button thing again. the Spanish "Multi Deporte" channels had gone offline.
Once again the doubles surpasses all the rest for pure entertainment.
Thanks to Jay and Marcus for giving me what will be one of the most memorable days of my Wimbledon life. The drama was unbelieveable, the way Jay and Marcus held their nerve throughout was incredible. Jay played beyond his years and Marcus played as well as he ever has.
Nobody (almost) to fear now, well done guys.
Bob makes a good call for Davis Cup. I hadn't given this a thought, but forget the rankings who else plays like this, certainly not Dom and Jamie (no disrespect intended).
By the way, if you watched Federer on another channel winning a match he couldn't lose you've made a BIG mistake. Regardless of what highlights the Beeb show later it will never convey how great this match was.
As has been suggested, I wonder if the buzz of this Wimbledon experience will inspire Marcus to really give his career a go. The thought of him and Jay traveling the Challenger circuit together, playing singles and doubles is an exciting prospect. We can only live in hope.
I have to confess that I questioned their WC direct into the main draw on the reasoning that they had only played together once before. What do I know eh ? It has proved an inspired decision, whatever happens from here.
