I think Dzumhur is a pretty close friend of Ali and sometime practice partner so that could be a very tight match. I think Ivo must be sick of playing AB by now anyway, doubt he thought the hoodoo would extend to grass.

Doubly delighted by that result. Firstly because Aljaz deserves enormous credit for his composure throughout the match and secondly because I won't have to a watch Karlovic any more.
That was crazy, even just on live scores - it must take some doing when Ivo's on one of his better serving days, to know that one lapse and you've probably lost the set.

What a great match. Brilliant attitude from Aljaz, not getting frustrated with being served off court and taking his chances.
I'm really happy for him with the dreadful run he's had with the DC hassle this last few years. I hope he can put it behind him and get on with his carreer, whichever country he's playing for. He seems like a really nice guy.
Yes. And should be noted that Aljaz is coached by Nick Cavaday, I learned yesterday.
So well done to GB's Nick too - you're obviously doing a great job !
And to Aljaz for picking a British coach Anyone who puts work the way of the British tennis community is also playing a big part in keeping tennis going in Britain.
