I really hope she pushes on, but she has to really take control of matches. Still, a great achievement to reach a second GS through qualification this year!

Harriet tweeted this morning that she has split with her coach. No reason given. I was a bit surprised as this partnership seems to have worked very well. Anyone have any more insight into this?

I'm not surprised, Harriet tends to make good decisions and probably feels that to make the next step up she needs to change coaches to continue progression.

I agree that it's interesting given the progress she's made. That said, if you're going to split with a coach, now is the time to do it.

New coach is Biljana Veselinovic, an experienced Serbian coach. Apparantly Harriet says that she finds the dynamic

having a female coach as different but is totally enjoying it.
