Our two pairs had to draw reasonably ranked seeds. And for however much it matters they are in the two of the 4 brackets with the lowest top seeds. What round they meet these top seeds in, if they are to, is pretty irrelevant given no points or money anyway until you qualify.

But yes  bleh  to particularly Luke having to be there at all.

You've got a much better chance of being a LL if you make it to the FQR, although of course the difference in level between the seeds is pretty much non existent.wink

Ryan loses, but with a very respectable score line, 7-5 6-4.

Any news about queue times to get into Roehampton. I've got tickets for tomorrow and wonder what time I need to arrive?

The Swede dumped out the q30, Lee Duckhee, by 3 & 2...

Couldn't have asked for a much better set of draws all round really. As others have gone for either 4 or 5 to go through, I am going to be Mr Positive and say 6. I'll add Dan Cox to the 5 suggested above.

My prediction not looking so good right now.  Come on guys, no more room for error.

Ryan Storrie way better than I'd expected. Surprised by Lloyd Glasspool's score; I too thought he had a shot. Jay Clarke's looked winnable - and he won it. Such a good sign! Ymer, however, will be tough. So sorry for Neil Pauffley.

I'm going to go out on a limb and give a hope to Alex Ward. Maybe Ed Corrie? With Liam Broady, Dancevic is one of those players who can be surprisingly good or more pedestrian; you just never know which will show up. No idea what will happen with Marcus Willis and Andrej Martin.

Mr Broady has taken the first set. Good work. Just noticed that Reilly Opelka and Rajeev Ram are playing each other on the next court. Unsurprisingly, their first set is in a tie-break.  And the winner of the worst draw has to be de Minaur; quite grim to get Jurgen Melzer in the first round of qualies on grass.
