What a shame after such a good start. Not a bad set of performances by Emily, it must be one of the biggest crowds she has played in front of.
Any idea how Kai-Chen qualifies for this she is obviously a very polished baseliner with 6-7 years of WTA experience. in her mid 20's she is a bit different from the rest of the field.

In the final, they were up against the Russian team of Richard Musaev and Aslan Karatsev: Karatsev has a CH of 153 in singles and 238 in doubles (both in 2015) - Musaev is a bit of a mystery.
It was a very hard fought match, which you can follow in the @BUCSsport Twitter feed. First set to Russia 6-1. Second set to GB 6-3. But Russia won in the tie-breaker 10-7, so Mr Findel-Hawkins and Mr Johnson won the silver medal.
An admirable campaign - their last three matches were at Challenger level, and the wins and tight final match should be a real encouragement.
One thing I will not be sorry to leave is the website for these games - the most complex site for trying to find results that I think I have ever encountered.
Not quite sure how all the university games thingies relate to each other - and certainly didn't think that Jonny O'Mara was at uni, but guess I was mistaken - but might as well put it here:
"Three university students at the University of Stirling have been selected to represent GB for BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) at the upcoming BNP Paribas Master'U.
Maia Lumsden, Scott Duncan and Jonny O'Mara have all been selected to represent GB at the forthcoming BNP Paribas Master'U event in Lille, France in December.
Maia will be joined by Philippa Horn and Emma Hurst from the University of Bath, meanwhile Scott and Jonny will be joined by Jack Findel-Hawkins from the University of North Florida.
University of Stirling Head Coach Euan McGinn said "It's great news for the Universities scholarship programme that we have 50% of the GB team being represented at the event. Maia, Scott and Jonny are all looking forward to the event and I am sure they will represent the university very well."

Just thought I'd bump this thread, and Spec's excellent posts, so people can see who were playing and the results from the last games (as the current ones are now happening in Napoli)
