As reported in the Ilkley Challenger thread, with reference to Joe Salisbury, David & Freddie went on to retain their doubles title here, not without a 16-14 MTB win in the SF.

Yes. I spotted that. But the performance of the week has to go to Barroso, who is the guy who beat Ewan 7-5 in the 3rd on Sunday. On the Monday, he finished his singles losing 7-6 in the 3rd at about 00.15 hours but still came out to play his doubles "after rest". As SC noted on the previous page, the 1st set had just finished at approx 01.50 hours and so the match must have eventually finished around 02.15 hours.

I know there were heat issues, but that is just crazy.
