Really?
How soon we forget

Heather & Marina Erakovic.
Heatina - Champions together in 2012 of Stanford Premier & Dallas International. The former of which was a first GB WTA title for a quarter century.

And many other decent runs up until they had to dissolve when Hev contracted glandular fever.

Thanks. Even now recalling a bit they clearly achieved much more than I would have guessed.

One representative in the SF, two more chances tomorrow, though very tough looking assignments.

QF: Johanna Konta & Yanina Wickmayer (BEL) CR 237 (114+123) vs (3) Chan Hao-ching & Casey Dellacqua (TPE/AUS) CR 44 (18+26)

QF: (4) Christina McHale (USA) & Heather Watson CR 118 (44+74) beat Lauren Davis & Alison Riske (USA/USA) CR 482 (355+127) 6-1 6-0

QF: Jocelyn Rae & Laura Robson CR 401 (124+277) vs (2) Darija Durak & Anastasia Rodionova (CRO/AUS) CR 69 (31+38)

BBC have a report, the most interesting bit is about next week in Edgbaston:
...world number two Simona Halep - who lost in Saturday's French Open final to unseeded Latvian Jelena Ostapenko - has pulled out of next week's Aegon Classic in Birmingham with an ankle injury.

It means Broady and fellow Briton Heather Watson will join Konta in the Birmingham draw after being given wildcards.

It's not clear whether that will be the end of the Brit MDWC's in Edgbaston.

Not that there is surely any connection between Halep ( who was on the entry list ) pulling out and the British WCs. "It means" ?? Guess it's just the beeb being the beeb.

Katy Dunne and Katie Boulter will probably be qualifying WCs at Birmingham as they have withdrawn from Ilkley.

Aren't there only 2 MDWCs?

It's not all about you Jaggy. The reference was to an earlier post by Blob.

They've scheduled Jo's singles to be guaranteed to clash with Joss & Laura R's doubles; both first up at 11:00.
There were only three matches featuring Brit women that needed to be scheduled throughout the whole day disbelief

Tell me about it...obvious solutions include starting Laura and Joss' court half 12ish or just putting Jo on second. I actually think it's deliberate. They don't want a half empty centre court because they know everyone will flock outside if there's no Brits on centre and there is on the other courts.
