Week 24 - Spain F17 ($15,000) - Martos (hard)

Well done, Ewan.

If we weren't all a bit 'tennised out' at the moment, the crowds would be going wild !

But super result.....

Yes, but I am still a bit jet lagged having arrived home from Brazil yesterday. But Palma del Rio qualies over the weekend is a definite maybe. 3 Brits in qualies and only about 1 hour further.

Wow!  biggrin   Never expected that when I saw he'd lost the first set before I left work.

QF:  Lukas Rüpke (GER) WR 872 (CH = 861 in January 2015) vs (Q) Ewan Moore WR 1104

The German despatched the fifth seed, Pablo Vivero, in straight sets in his match...

That's a huge win. If only I had made the journey.

Good luck tomorrow Ewan. One more win means substantial points and also an SE into next week's tournament. No pressure then.

The temperature is warming up here and I am told the courts are quite fast. Ewan thinks that suits his game.
