I notice that Mandy Carreras was entered in both the Manchester 100k and the Ilkley 110k scheduled for this week, but has now withdrawn from both. This means she had intended to play the grass court season this year, likely aiming at least for a Wimbledon qualifying WC, but her wrist injury has not recovered sufficiently to allow her to do so. Does anybody have an update on this? As we know wrist injuries can have very nasty effects...

Pity as Mandy is one of our few players capable of pulling off a real surprise
Thanks for the update PockyTastic, and yes, I agree, I think that Mandy might well have surprised a few people if she could have played the grass season... she only played a few matches two years ago but did well. Now sadly it looks like her ranking will slip a lot before she is able to play again
Katie Boulter and Katy Dunne have also withdrawn from Ilkley
They've both made the qualifying draw in Birmingham, though they are still in singles and doubles in Manchester so that might be scuppered unless they get main draw wildcards.

I notice that Kyle is now a DA for Queens and his wildcard has been allocated to Cam. I wonder if Dan will make it or if there will be another WC to be re allocated.
This is also the week of the Wimbledon WC Play-Offs.
The WC Play-offs are based on the rankings as at 19th June, with on-site sign-in on Weds 21st June. Play is Thursday and Friday, weather permitting. So with Wimby WC's not being announced until Tuesday 20th, it isn't going to be easy predicting who will be in the playoffs.
