hi . i avant posted for a few years but read every day on here.i went to nottingham and watched the klien vs de miniar match , and i can confirm that brydan talks to himselve and chastises himselve all the time. it might seem to others he is talkin to them but he isnt. he is passionate about his own performance. and tells himselve off constantly.
Brydan had been on a short fuse all match, earlier on he got a little cool it warning from the umpire when he hit a ball back to a ball boy a tad aggressively, no penalty, but then he hit a ball a mile into the air, and onto the next court, first warning. Then later dusputed call, no penalty, but then wouldn't let it go, point penalty. However he wasn't at fault for the game penalty, you felt he just about to unload a barrage of expletives after missing a break back point, but probably knowing a default would be coming, stopped himself and berated himself by calling himself a stupid person, umpire got the wrong end of the stick, game penalty, Brydan was devastated in tears, didn't leave the court for ages, but as we know officials don't change their minds. Very sad end. Crowd were on his side.
For me it was Lahyani making it about Lahyani. Bryan was wrong to get to this stage of discuplinary action but let's face it Groth was almost certainly going to win anyway!
