That's a very good performance from Tiffany, as an unranked player to be taking a set of a player ranked 323 suggests she has potential to be much higher, even if she is not particularly a youngster any longer (she's 22). A bit like Suzy Larkin perhaps, who is 24, but has only really obtained a ranking within the last year or so.

Yes, I agree. Tiffany was at US college, though, until she was 21, so it's not surprising that she's not got results from earlier (she started playing pro last year and didn't have much to show for it so great to see a string of better results coming). 

Maybe the US college 'experts' know more about how she did over there....?

I had a nice chat to her mum last year at one of the ITFs; she said Tiffany was definitely going to give the pro tour a go.
