However, I do think it's the first time that Alice has beaten two ranked players in the same event, and having done so in consecutive rounds also: QR2, WR941; FQR WR 1156
All signs of progress.

It would be better for her ranking if she won a match in the MD after qualifying!

Well, yes. But, one step at a time.
Perhaps today is the day for the next step forward, too.

Thanks, Blob.

You're right, it's an excellent list - should have checked.

(Do wish the opponent's ranking wasn't right next to the GB player though, maybe just me but I find it confusing).

Also, Helen, there's a little error low down - it was Ola Pitak who beat Mia Eklund (not Kasia Pitak, as marked). (Ola is the diminutive of Aleksandra)

I do know what you mean about the opponent's ranking right next to the British player. But I would imagine in general it's just initially confusing and once one accepts that it is simply an order of the CH wins for these British players with the opponents then given I'm personally absolutely fine with the layout.

Great resource though watch your Pitaks, Helen

You're right, Indy, and I didn't mean it as a criticism at all. Any person who keeps such a useful resource up to date and makes it available to the public is doing a brilliant job and really providing a service. Thank you, Helen. (Just a suggestion that, maybe, the ranking column could go next to the opponent...but, as you say, it's clear once you're used to it....)

No problem, I knew that you were just making a suggestion rather than at all criticising. The only thing is personally I disagree with your suggestion. The main matters to me are on the left, the order of the CHs for the British players with the opponent more incidental information to the right. So to me not only does it become clear I positively like it as it is, preferable to any other way I can think of. Hey Ho

Right, I see where you're coming from, Indy.

But, for me, I think it's missing the rank of the GB player.

i.e. it doesn't tell me quite what I want to know.

I don't really care who is the 55th best player in the list.

But I would like to know what rank Sam Murray was when she beat Doi, for instance.

So I'd like them in order but with the GB player's ranking next to Sam and the ranking of Doi next to Doi.

Just me - and just a suggestion
