Watched Evo, fantastic attitude seemed really up for it. Looking forward to Evo against Brown
Have to say that when I saw Evo play in Barcelona, I commented on his demeanor. He seems to be in such a good place mentally right now, fully focussed and really enjoying his tennis. That is great to see. Clearly most of the credit for that goes to Evo himself, but I think he has an excellent team around him led by Mark Hilton, who also deserves a lot of credit.
The last 8 are generally all quite handy on grass:
Evo (3rd Round Wimbledon last year) v Dustin Brown (won Manchester last year)
Reilly Opelka (won Wimbledon Juniors 2015, aided by a 140mph plus serve) v Thompson (ok not much pedigree but he is Aussie so...)
Copil (RU in Surbiton last year) v Stakhovsky (Won Rosmalen in 2010 and also beat Fed in Rd 2 Wimbledon 2013)
Sugita (got through Wimbledon qualies twice before in 14 and 15, won a round at Halle last season, and Newport) v Sela (reached Wimbledon last 16 in 2009, won Nottingham 2011).
At this early stage that past experience and pedigree helps so reckon Dan could have his work cut out to win this. Personally, Copil and Sela would be my tips
O dear, injury to Dan - play halted. He shot out of the picture chasing a ball, then play stopped. Trainer on now - MTO. 6-3 4-2 40-30*
Looks like left ankle
