Good effort from James, not far off the level. But 0/5 on break points against 2/2 for Dan makes the difference.

Yes, just from the Livestream, James was very unlucky not to break Dan in the first two service games on Dan, and to get broken himself. From then on, Dan has been a little more settled and on top. But James is playing decently.

Great to see James back but it was asking a lot ( probably asking for Evo to be well below par ) for James in his first match back.

Hopefully wherever he is next he gets a rather better draw.
