I see that Misaki Doi retired from her singles SF after one game of the second set.

The doubles SF as of now is still on today's schedule after the other singles SF.

What a wonderful week (and still counting) for Anna.

People always used to focus more on Joss which I often thought was just because she was taller and stood out more !

But here's Anna in a WTA final , with 180 points and 2,600 euros guaranteed.

All the very best to her/them.

These 180 points ( net 155 ) will take Anna up to just 1 point behind Heather, the current GB doubles #2 and WR 69, 1106 points to 1105. A further 100 points if she and Nicole were to win the title and in that event it looks as if Anna will improve on her current CH 67 from February last year.

Naomi is GB doubles #1, WR 56 on 1357 points.

Melichar is already at a new CH. Hope she's pleased, and that these two might reunite after R-G.

Anna would reach a new CH if they win the title.

In the Jossanna, I accept that Anna played second fiddle, but always kinda wondered if she wasn't a better second fiddle than Joss principal soloist, if that makes sense...

She'll also have been second fiddle in Naomi/Smith, and Melichar looked like by far the best player on court a couple of days ago. But that means that their opponents tried to hit to Anna as much as possible, so it was largely down to her that the team won so convincingly. And both these new combinations look stronger, to my mind, than Jossana.

Good news, but not sure Anna will make the cut for the WTA grass events. Hev and Naomi or Joss and Laura are more likely to get wildcards as well.

With caveats..

They went into a 3-1 lead, but then lost 5 in a row, to drop the first 3-6.

Anna is serving first, and they elected Anna to face the decisive deuce.
