Hev was 2-4 down in the second set. Then won 5 of the next 6 games. 4-6 7-5
That seems like a flash of the old, (I like to believe) real, Heather.

Great coaching from Jan there.

Heather's 3 set match comebacks often last well over 3 hours, so getting this one done in 'just' 130 minutes is a bit of a relief.
Good to see, 25 points. Points double again, for the next match, to 50, which, given Heather's slow start to the year, would be very welcome.

Naomi played well, and wasn't moving badly on the clay, but today comes out the wrong end of a close match

6-2 2-6 7-6(5)

Thrashed her racket at the end, but some encouraging stuff.

Very surprised at how she has looked on the red stuff this week. Shame she couldn't squeeze this one out again, two close wins would have done wonders for the confidence.
