RE: Week 20 - Challenger ($150,000+H) - Busan, South Korea (hard)

Joe & David seem to be having a rather torrid time of it in the Far East:

L16:  (WC) Kwon Soon Woo & Lee Jae Moon (KOR/KOR) CR 1307 (463+844) defeated David O'Hare (IRL) & Joe Salisbury CR 317 (141+176) by 4 & 4  bleh

Pospisil has taken the 1st set against Liam 6-3. Only one BP in the entire set and Pospisil took advantage. Liam only managed 2 points in the Pospisil serve in 5 service games.

Does anyone have a stream, btw?  I had thought it would be on the ATP site...

Thanks so much for that Bob!  It is odd for a link not to appear from the ATP site, it usually does.

Apart from one great point, VP played a poor returning game with 3 UEs.   4-1 for Liam.

Pospisil has been the scourge of our leading players this year, would be nice to see Liam exact some revenge!

But sadly he doesn't - lost 2nd set 7-2 in the breaker. Decent looking effort though.

At least it was a reasonably close match. However, I think Pospisil was some way off his best. Both players made too many errors.  Too often Liam hit UEs when he wasn't really trying to do too much with the ball.  Liam can still be satisfied with his week's work. Let's hope he can win another 4 matches next week!

I don't see that Liam is entered anywhere next week. Possibly taking a break and training for Grass now.

Cheers, TEV.  I was really suprised when I saw his name down for RG qualies - he isn't a fan of the dirt and his ranking is a long way off making the cut.  On reading Week 21 entries again, I was doubly confused until I realised  the Broady at RG Qs is his sister!

It's paulisi's fault, sneakily putting the men and women together for the French Open Qs

But I think we've sussed it unless Mr Watson and Mr Moore have come on the scene unexpectedly quickly.
