I think it'll be a "Top 20" WC, which she is eligible for by being a former GS singles champion. A Top 20 WC can be awarded to a Top 10 player, a player ranked 11-20 at the end of the previous tour year, past WTA finals singles champions, past GS singles champions, past WTA Premier mandatory singles champions and former WTA #1 ranking players.

I see Katie Swan is confirmed as being into the Nottingham qualifiers draw now, a fair few ladies have pulled out.

Gabi is also in the qualies list - I guess both could be upgraded to a WC as well as Katie B.

She withdrew, so unless they can have 3 Nottingham WCs, someone is going to be disappointed. Unless they waste a Manchester WC on one of them rather than one going through qualies.

 There's still uncertainty over the WC situation. Stosur gets a top 20 wildcard, but nobody seems sure how this will affect the traditional wildcards and if they can have 3 or if 1 has to go to the next in line. Will be interesting to see what happens. Given the very busy grass schedule, I'd far rather play Manchester main draw than Nottingham quals.
