Shame for Katie but a great week and a big learning curve today. Wouldn't shock me if Barty does very well in Wimbledon.
Barty has only been back on the tour about two years ago after giving up tennis as she was disillusioned by it. She had a QWC I think into Roehampton 2 years ago as she was virtually unranked

She played cricket for a while during her time out. And still, very young. She has great potential.
Ash would be a good bet to go far on the grass this year. She has a powerful all round game and it's perfect for grass. Also a lovely young woman and very popular on the tour apparently

Her results went down abit though earlier in the year as he best mate and dubs partner on Tour Case retired, and she wanted her wins for her and her country as she became Aussie No 1, so put too much pressure on herself. She seems to have gotten her head back in the game though now. I've been a great Ash fan for ages, kind of their version of Robbo, but with less injuries and giving up to play cricket when she wasn't enjoying the tennis, before going round to her mate's Case for a barbie and deciding to return. I hope she does well at Wimby this year, I find her game and attitude a breath of fresh air.
