I notice that Donna Vekic has cleaned up 7-5 6-1 today against Mona Barthel to reach the SF. Her toughest match by far so far has been against Gabi.

Yes, if you don't involve Fed Cup ( she won her 3 Fed Cup group matches and also won her 2 Fed Cup matches in Japan before winning R1 in Madrid ). In a tournament, yes.

To confirm, she won her QF against Jakupovic 6-4 6-2

Ah yes, I had quite forgotten Fed Cup! Will be interesting to see how she fares against Vekic, I think it is a match up that she should win but it also would not be a surprise if she lost. Keep on stringing those wins together Jo!
