Lloyd Glasspool

Yeah I remember one of Harris blogs saying Lloyd had to return to England for some studys one week. I reckon it is over now. More than worth the time to do some studying I say. Im surprised you dont see more players do online programmes. How much of the day/ week on tour do you actually spend on the court/gym? The only other Brit I know who has done an online programme is Anton. Think it was with one of the London Unis.

Harriet definitely did some online degree - criminology, I think it was

I thought Anton did a normal degree? Which was why he didn't play much. Definitely UCL or LSE

I wonder who Lloyd could partner - someone mentions Joe? Really? Marcus!? Dan?!

Dan possibly, they have played together previously.

Being honest, is he good enough? I was tongue in cheek re Marcus as well above, Dan and Joe would be good standard, obviously (depends on Joe's situation but he isnt available at the moment) but not sure any other Brits would be good enough to give Lloyd a chance of titles - presumably he will want a player who is going to play with him for the entire grass court stretch?

Evo would intrigue me - he is good enough, clearly, has had doubles success and I wonder if he fancies giving Wimbledon a go (now it is best of three sets) and doing something akin to Nick K at the AO last season? It would be very appealing, to me at least !

Lloyd and Dan are also good friends. So definitely a possibility.

Harri's blog says that Lloyd has agreed to play the whole grass court season with the same pair, but doesn't say who...

I think Dan would be a good bet, provided he's willing to do it physically. There are also players like Peers & Mahut who don't have consistent partners, who might be keen - but wildcard wise, a British partner would be a much safer bet.

Haha, I have to reload mine often to get it to do it:

In doubles, this kind of game break also affects the pair, so I told Lloyd about it well in advance in January, so that he could plan his own patterns in peace. He understood it very well, and even though there are no points for the Race ranking now, Lloyd can of course improve his own personal ranking by collecting points and prize money with other partners as usual. We did consider the option that I would have played the preliminaries of the grass season and only missed Wimbledon, but it was easier for Lloyd to agree to play the entire grass season with the same pair. And I don't have to stress and leave, for example, the Queen's Club race, if labor starts early.

Thanks JB and agree with BlueBelle , Harri is very open and honest but also seems very likeable.

And different partners in the other grass events, contrary to what Harri said was the plan.

mahut  a very experienced and strong partner
