Milos will I'm sure be a tough test for Ali, but given Raonic's spell on the sidelines, and then the fact this is his weakest surface and Ali's strongest, AND Aljaz's impressive form, I'd say it's as good a time as any for this match-up.
So at the start of May Aljaz has already YTD acrewed almost 3/4 of his total points score. Another good couple of weeks on the clay (hopefully continuing here to start with) and he'll be in a great position to push on towards potential seeding for the USO. Wouldn't have predicted such a rapid rise a couple of months ago. Great stuff!

Good Luck to Bedene watching Raonic play is like watching paint dry no personality and all power I like when he is beaten

Certainly the way Aljaz has been playing of late that is far from out of the question. Just looking at his defences for the remainder of the year even more possible looks an Aussie Open seeding with relatively little to defend post the US Open so if he can find good hard court form in the latter part of the year ... ( since the start of this year's Aussie Open he has already 'banked' about half the getting on for 1200 points total he may need for a seeding )
Would be great to have two or three ( or even four sometime in the not too distant future, getting really greedy ! ) British men's Slam seeds.

Agree with the above comment, Raonic is awful to watch he's like the Mark Selby of tennis minus the number 1 attributes. He's barely fit and doesn't have much clay pedigree so a great chance for Aljaz to be competitive if not win this one. All the best.

with another win in Istanbul, Aljaz will get up to number two Brit spot, with Kyle facing a large fall this next week
I see Aljaz is in the entry list for 's-Hertogenbosch when the grass season gets going. Not sure of his grass court game to be honest, but he seems to be working v hard at the moment to play as much as he can , taking advantage of this good form.
Shame ATP havent taken more notice, his story is interesting and I would have though worth a feature on their profiles pages?

He played Hertogenbosch last year and won a round but I think it is pretty fair to say he is not a natural on the grass and I am not going to expect too much from the grass court season despite his current good form.

The Queens entry cut off is next Mondays entry list I believe and with all of Dan, Kyle and also, now, Aljaz in the top 60, all 3 would be within the final cut off for Queens based on last season, avoiding need to wild cards. Which of course would make the wild card's themselves of interest if all 3 (and Andy) could make the main draw as of right.
