R1: Katy Dunne & Julia Glushko (ISR) CR 529 (376+153) vs Mana Ayukawa (JPN) & Emily Webley-Smith CR 529 (293+236) - ie. same CR - winners could meet the #2 seeds in the QF.

Laura saved about six break points to take the 4th game including serving two aces 3-1*

Two holds of service take it to 4-2*
Laura was serving well in the 1st set, getting over 60% of her 1st serves in and winning 70+ on 1st and 2nd serves.
Her service went walk about at the start of the 2nd but she now at least seems to have got her 1st serve going again, getting 70% 1st serves in and 70% won.

Next opponent is definitely going to be a qualifier, so potential here for quite some more.
Especially so if she can, ostensibly, repeat todays numbers.
