Both Glassvegas and Broady are at serious junctions in their careers I feel, both need to be ranked around 250 as a min, to carry on in the sport by the end of this year.
Liam had a great trip here last year but then really did not kick on for the rest of the season. Hoping for another Asian success but this time as a springboard to a better summer and get Liam back to where he can play challengers without qualifying. With the changes coming I don't see how anyone below that level will survive long without sponsorship.
Pleased for Liam. He clearly likes playing in Korea. Tough for Lloyd. Krajicek is a very good player at this level and it looks a highly competitive scoreline. Fingers crossed for a LL spot.

Agree about Liam but Lloyd has only been full time for less than 2 years so I think he should give it a bit longer. What about Corrie, another terrible tournament, getting old, going nowhere, how long does the pain continue for him?
Without knowing the individual motivations, resources and what players enjoy and don't enjoy of the touring tennis pro life, over and above the basic stats of rankings and wins and losses, I am always reluctant to consider writing off players of whatever age. If they are getting by, hitting tennis balls for a while longer, and dreaming the occasional dream, may for many look better than their own most likely alternatives.
While yes some players have quite a lot of points to defend on this Asian trip it and the rest of the year seem to me to have been built up in different places as much more make or break than is probably the case.
Time will tell, though hopefully they do well to make things rather better on all counts.
