From what I could tell, Joel kept going up a mini-break in the TB, but the Belarussian kept pegging him back & he couldn't quite seem to shake him off.  hmm

Fortunately Joel has doubles later which might help him take his mind off the defeat. He really hasn't had a good start to the year, but he has talent, so he will come through this bad patch.

Well hopefully that will cheer Joel up. They fought back to win the 2nd set on a breaker at 8-6 and then won the MTB 11-9

Some kind of consolation at least for his narrow defeat earlier.
