a little clip of match point.

And nice to know that Nik is still out there and fully into the tennis (in a professional capacity or friendly? Not sure)

nikslater07Another great week for @alicollins27 at the G1 in Beaulieu Sur Mer with partner @niemeierjule taking home the title! & in win #titletown #beaulieusurmer #itfg1 #champions

Congrats Ali and partner. and to Emily.

Ali and German partner beat seed 1, 3, 6 and 8 on reaching the final.

Emily beat seed 2 and seed 5.

Nice points for both.

Interesting. Nik Slater definitely seems to have more than a passing interest in Ali. She was in the photo when Andy had been watching Ali lose in the French Grade 2 a couple of weeks ago, and tweeted something about that she may have looked angry in the photo, it was actually quite the opposite.

Folk have remarked that Ali can be a bit feisty. Not sure that Nik will reverse that at all !

Well done Ali. A big step up to win a grade 1 title.
