Holds to 15 and we have a final set TB. Would have taken that at 0-6 *0-3

Now win it !

8 DFs from Tara in the final set.

Lost 6-0 4-6 7-6(1)

Very good recovery and served for it at *5-4 in the final set.

Having said DFs were comparatively not that awful for Tara I see that 8 of the final total of 11 were in that final set, 2 in the TB. It's such a handicap to her, real pity, and would just love her to get that aspect much better and see where she could then go.

Shame for Tara.

But a double fault is only an unforced error, like any other unforced error. It's not an issue in itself. The problem is that double faults often cripple the confidence of players in a way that other UEs don't and mess up their whole game. If Tara can't sort out the DFs, that's not ideal but it's OK, really, as long as she doesn't allow them to kill the rest of her game. It's a different way of working at the problem.

Shame indeed... She had a great comeback in the second from 3-0 down, brought it back to 4-3, then won the set, not bad.
