Sounds like you got an excellent day, Bob, and a great one today. Presumably Andy starts playing tomorrow. What is the weather like this week Bob? We where in Barcelona in the week leading up to Easter and it was around 19-20 c in the day time, lovely for tennis, but looking at the weather on the BBC it looks like it might be a bit cooler this week? The Brits might feel at home ! (unlike our near winter like weather here at home this week, at least in North Yorkshire where we live)

It is glorious sunshine. The locals keep telling me it is going get colder but no sign of it yet.

Andy should start tomorrow. He plays the winner of Tomic v Brown and they play today. Sadly for me, today is my last day here so I won't get to see Andy's first match.

First set by the wayside rather quickly, 6-1. Big step up in class for Kyle today. Hopefully he was just using that first set to get a feel for the match

If I were Mr Edmund's coach I would schedule some work on smashes.

L32:  (1/WC) Andy Murray WR 1 vs Bernard Tomic (AUS) WR 41 (CH = 17 in January last year)

Tomic's never beaten Andy once in five encounters.

Not only has been Tomic's form been pretty bad in 2017, I have no idea of his clay stats, but thinks his game is really not suited to it either.

Yes not sure though you would imagine clay would give Tomic more time to plod into position.

Certainly though I would be disappointed not to see an Andy win.
