Yes. ITF have reversed the score. Billy has qualified - and drawn a seed. Isn't that a surprise.
A seed who was on a 7-match losing streak and thankfully, Billy has taken full advantage of Vivero's slump (as did Alex Ward last month) - and that's the equal fewest games Vivero has taken off anyone during his losing run

I've said for a while, that when Billy gets it right, he has a big game. He can get ragged at times, and will no doubt mix some excellent results with some not so good, but the potential is there. I am really pleased for him as I know he is still doing it the hard way.
What a relief. Thought he might blow as he threw away a decent lead in the second set & wasn't sure he'd win the tie-break as I went out to lunch. For the record:
L16: (Q) Billy Harris WR 1004 defeated (Q) Jason Kubler WR 1768 by 7-6(5) 7-6(4) in two hours & 32 minutes!
I think this should seal another CH ranking for Billy. Next target must be a first ever SF. Let's hope he can do that here as the 6 points (or more) would then cover off EVERYTHING he has to defend for the rest of the year.
