Unsurprisingly Kedders too good on the dirt in the end. If I was Evo I'd take a lot of positives out of that match though, could easily have nicked that 1st set and things might have been different.
Quite enjoyed that. I was a bit concerned about Kyle's form in the early stages but he looked impressive once he found his range with the fearhand even if not the overheads. Dan showing some promising clay court form as well.
Tempted to say that was a "smashing" victory by Kyle, having been "lobbed" into the deep end by Evo.
As always, pleased for Kyle but it is so hard to get too excited when it is an all GB tie. I guess that what we should be celebrating (and who would have expected this 3 years ago) is that we have had an all GB match at a Masters 1000 where two Brits played each other having got in purely on merit and NEITHER of them was called Andy Murray.
