Serve deserted her in 3rd set, Eraydin not being a complete mug meant that Laura still had to be focused and professional, real shame she doesn't appear to getting better week by week.
Just a random personal angle, but she needs out from the entire, poisonous Eisenbud/Sharapova sphere of influence.
Still has several years, if she wants it, in the modern game to get things together, but needs a completely clean break from the expectations of her past, which, for the time being at least, are pretty self-evidently, very much past.
I feel for the kid, been dealt a bad hand, sometimes doesn't help herself, but also has been pretty dreadfully advised and managed.
Lots of people I thought could probably properly help, at one time or another, but not sure any of them would be interested now: Tauziat, Rodrigues, Carrill etc

Another deuce game lost - those sudden death points have absolutely killed them today
5-6*
Another deuce point
Over and out 7-5 7-5
That was a fairly remarkable match, and not in a good way. How they didn't pick up at least a set there I've no idea. 4 of 21 in break points. I think they won 2 of around 15 deuce games - crazy.

Wow... yes, I hope she has the wine before she self-harms, seeing that Em is inclined to get down on herself... She will certainly have a few regrets after all those set points left out there
Sudden death deuce is such a lottery - a good serve by an opponent, a reflex volley fractionally out etc etc and the whole game's gone. They use it in both singles and dubs in Div 1 US college tennis and you so often see a run of close games go against the player(s) looking overall the most likely winners.
