This could end up being a very bad draw.
Cagla has messed her schedule up, and wound up in qualies here. She's 130 places higher ranked than the MD #1 seed, MLDB.
Mandy could therefore end up as the number 2 seed in a $25K, being drawn against WR 108 in the first round
Fingers crossed this doesn't happen, but Cagla really shouldn't be playing here. Yes, she's in a major slump so stepping down to ITF makes sense but there is an 80K this week on green clay that she could have played or a 60K in Istanbul on hard.

Frances graduated from Vanderbilt last summer but she only started competing about 6 weeks ago. A successful career at Vandy and played quite a lot of pro tennis during her college breaks where she had more success at dubs than singles, winning one 10K title. So UNR might be a bit misleading.
True...not a lot of clay on the college circuit!!! And I'm not suggesting Mandy is likely to lose in any event, just that the match might not be quite as easy as UNR suggests (let's watch Mandy make a fool of me by winning 0 & 0.......)
