The perils of entering with an SR good enough to rank you towards the top of the entry list, but no seeding. At least Sam seems to have a relatively easy starter.

Have seen Okuda play in an Ivy League college match.  A 'crafty' player with lots of drop shots and clever ball placement but not a big hitter in any sense.  I would expect Sam to power straight through her.
