Great, obviously a bit of juice still in the tank, as a "Dirty" Leeds fan he must be used to adversity.
This year his losses have been to Jay (418) in three, Brydan (231) in three, Otto (365), Rungkat (423) in three, Marcus (404). That's promising, hoping for continued success here and then back to the UK for grass and a good run in a tougher set of futures through the summer.
The American summer futures swing is a very good test with the under ranked US College standouts making even the early rounds a lottery.
He's just become my new favourite player. #LUFC #MOT
This is yet another reason why I like him!
I had no idea there were so many of us on here! #MOT

But I saw The Damned United film - does that count????
I was in that film! Only as a 'featured extra' mind, but I got to share a burger and some football chat with Michael Sheen, who's a very nice chap.
Wowzer !That's pretty cool.
Very decent film too - well, I thought so, albeit as a complete Leeds ignoramus, so no idea if it was true to the facts or not.
It was certainly a really interesting experience. My 'featured extra' status being secured by the mullet I was sporting at the time haha! I think the film (and book) are relatively true to how things played out, although certainly some dramatisation was involved to, well, sell the book and get the film watched. The film was very well reviewed (Sheen was excellent, I thought) though I take it the Clough family were none too happy with the way Brian was portrayed at all.
Strange saga really, should have been a match made in heaven but obviously didn't work out that way at all!

Clough's 44 days must even be below the current charnan's going rate for turning over managers, even before Gary Monk arrived.
PS: apologies for a further Leeds associated post when I know there is now a Leeds United thread for all their forum supporters and anyone else that wants to chuck their tuppence in. Who wants to join me in a St Mirren thread? This season hopefully finishing as "The Great Escape".

Fantastic run of form from Jonny G. This is almost what is called "doing a Jay". Think I had better add Jonny to my list of potential Top 500 players for the end of the year.
