Gutting, lost the TB 9-11. I hope she can regroup to win the last set. I am encouraged that she's stayed with someone ranked much higher though.

Ohhhh dear crycrycry I wasn't able to follow the match, but seeing now how close it was and that Mandy actually had 3 match points - and served a double fault on one of them - I want to say ---- about a thousand times... So, so close and so, so far.... 

Just like Hilary Clinton, I see Mandy was ahead on points 116-109 overall. This is a heartbreaking loss for her, the equivalent to Heather's loss to Serena at Wimbledon. Win this and she was into a WTA $776k L32, her very first WTA event. Even the prospect of getting down to the lower 250s would have been that much closer.... A real shame. Now she is back to a 25k event next week...

At least she earned 13 points, but sooo nearly at least 25 points and qualification for a WTA Premier main draw.
