Emily Appleton is top seed here in the week's only G1, while Damian Rodriguez has a tough draw against the second seed, who beat Max Stewart en route to the Australian Open quarters

It is held in a Vrsar which is a stunning town, if the tennis facilities come close they are up for an absolute treat. A winning environment.... I hope!

Surprised, based on the Italian's record, that Emily struggled. Next up is a girl who was ranked 2 in Tennis Europe as a 13 year old, becoming number 1 before concentrating on ITFs. Helene Pellicano quickly progressed in lower grade events, but has struggled since reaching G1 and GAs

The top 5 seeds made the quarters and Emily now plays the fifth - consistent with 3 successive G2 semis, and also has a win last year over the number 1 ranked Anastasia Potapova en route to a G1 final on clay
