For those who wonder, it was indeed Mr Ward and partner who won 6-3 6-3 and who face the Spanish pairing in the SF.

All I can think of when I see the Sant'Anna/Travaglia team vanquishing themselves is Monty Python's Angus Podgorny winning Wimbledon ... 15 years later ... having defeated the giant blancmange ...

Eysseric was complaining about an elbow injury a couple of says ago.

Guessing it was that elbow that is still not right or flared up again.

A shame for him, hope he's OK.

But glad it was Alex who got the benefit, and in a 25k too.
