Week 12-13 - WTA Premier Mandatory ($7M) - Miami, FL, USA - Hard

And she will be more upset than anyone on here about losing. It's a tough old life on the circuit no matter how nice it looks. I'm confident she'll be back to winning ways soon

Hev was awful - A run in ITFs beckon and we know when she is on her game, she will walk through ITF tournaments

I don't think it would be a bad idea for Heather to play a few ITFs. One, she needs to get used to winning again, and to enjoy doing so. Two, she needs to find some motivation again for being on the main WTA tour.

One thing is for sure, Heather can be a vastly better player than she is at the moment, but she needs to find a mental switch that is currently missing. She has also always had disappointing decision making on the court during matches too, one reason she has always tended to under perform. Go and find some real enthusiasm again Heather.

Jo's doubles is under way; might not last long 0-1*

More competitive than I'd feared, but still a set down, 3-6

Rain suspends play at a juncture that does none of the players any favours, 3-6 *2-5

Rain has suspended the Vesnina v. Tomljanovic at *5-6 *30-40 in the decider.
Ajla MP away from putting out the Indian Wells champ.
Pretty frustrating, I'd say. Given how long she's been out, it's remarkable how well she's come right back in to things.

Ajla served it out on the resumption.

Parmentier dumped 24th seed Babos out with a bagel in the third, so would be Jo's next opponent, should she win today.
Looking like it could be c. 22:30-00:00 before Jo gets on court.

Preceding match about to start as Dolgopolov retired after one set. Might be an earlier start after all.
