Good first set. The break came about after the Shap was 40:15 up but went for 3 big forehand winners and missed them all in a row to open the door for Lloyd. Managed to get the break on his second break point. Intrigued to see if Denis ups his game as I feel he has more to offer than he has so far.

Thought you had jinxed him for a moment, but Lloyd escapes from 0-40 with 5 consecutive points, all on 2nd serve and Shapovalov failed to get 4 of them back into court.

Bother. A couple of good shots from Shapovalov and a couple of really close calls that went the wrong way and Lloyd gets broken.
