Jay has now won his last 12 R2 singles matches

(including 5 out of 5 this year) - the last time he lost a R2 match was in October. That doesn't mean he has reached 12 QFs in a row, since he lost in R1 in Tipton last month, but if he reaches R2, he tends to make at least the QFs at the moment.

Unfortunately lost in final set tie break after being broken again and breaking back.

Majrchrzak beat Jay Clarke 6-2, 2-6, 7-6(1)

But another battling performance that bodes well for the future.
