Having seen Julia a couple of times, she can suddenly up a gear and sustain it. This will be a real test for Jodie.

JAB loses out 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Still a very good week, and a good showing today against an opponent who'd lost just 3 games in her last two matches combined.

Surely the first of many finals, and with different end results, too. Bright future.
We'll see what sort of schedule she plays from here on.
Well done Jodie Anna

Wachaczyk though now becomes joint Brit-Basher-in-chief with 5 wins against us in 2017 (Iva Primorac also has 5), and just Ms. Swan's win as any counter.

Jodie is clearly a good prospect, but I expect a rather revived looking EWS to be too good at this stage.

She's good enough to win 15Ks if she puts it together, Jodie probably isn't at that stage yet.

Err OK, pundit of the year, I guess Jodie did beat Em and more than that ended up nearly winning the whole shebang. So err probably is now good enough to win 10Ks.

Great to see this, for me, a bit unexpectedly rapid senior push foward over the small steps before this week. Longer term though I did and do see her as a good enough prospect that top 300 may indeed be much less a target than just a pit stop on the way to rather loftier positions. How lofty, far too early to estimate, but her game looks very good, and more composure should come.

For now, Jodie, welcome to the top 1000 and to your place in the GB top 25. Great week,

From some clips I've seen on youtube. From some british 10k in Jan. Jodie looks like a very heavy ball striker and she's gonna get some big wins early on and some bad loses. As she matures she'll get more wins under her belt.
