I see David O'Hare has a WC alongside James McGee, but they've had the misfortune to draw the third seeds, Nestor & ERV!

Just had a look. Andy has already played doubles this season in Doha. Went out in the first round to a pair containing his doubles partner in Dubai.

Andy's doubles ranking is based solely on the 180 points he picked up from the QF at Monte Carlo last year playing with Dom - loisng to that well-known french pair. His outings at Indian Wells (last year) and Doha (this year) were first round exits.

Well at least 90 points will have one of Evo or Andy relatively soar up the rankings even if yes it won't mean a huge deal.

Be good if David O'Hare picked up some big points. He's currently WR 131 ( edit: up to WR 128 in the 27/02 rankings ). Would push him closer to the top 100 and help with CRs for entries with hopefully Joe Salisbury in the future.

I can't recall an Irish top 100 player ?

Good field again - perhaps with Andy's bout with shingles (had it, hurts and v tiring, so wouldnt be surprised if it isnt a plain sailing week this week as he gets back into it) we shouldnt expect too much from him, and a good field with Stan and Fed in play.
